    Re: ROSIE O'DONNELL

The only reason that these groups are not seen as a threat that is very large, is because their numbers are not in the same category of the radical Islamics. White supremacists base their belief on the foundation of Christian Identity, in which the believers reject the beliefs of most modern orthodox Christian denominations, and claim that modern Christian Churches are teaching a heresy: the belief that God's promises to Israel (through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) have been expanded to create a spiritual people of "Israel," which constitutes the Christian "Church". It further asserts that the early European tribes were really the ten lost tribes of Israel and therefore the rightful heirs to God's promises.
This group existed before the Civil War and in many parts of Canada and Europe.

They have very little true ties with Christianity even in a radical sense because they preach hatred and intolerance while Christianity preaches love and forgiveness.

Exactly. And radical Islam isn't the same as SANE Muslims.
As elp6n said, that's what makes them radical .

LOL I don't know but My Grand Parents were strict Old Regular Baptists and while My grand mother does believe that non believers are going to Hell I don't see her strapping bombs to her kids and sending them out to be martyrs. And even though My mother and her aunts Cut there hair and ware pants most of the time my Grand father never had them publicly stoned.

Made some comments on The View yesterday that were rather outlandish in saying that radical Christianity was just as dangerous as radical Islam. My question is with her being a card carrying democrat and outspoken supporter as well as financial contributor to the party does it hurt dems for her to make such comments or do people just really not pay attention to her? I know The View has a large female fan base so she definitely has an audience. Just don't know how much people would pay attention to such rhetoric.

She of all people have no right to down Christianity. She looks worse each time she opens her mouth on views like this. Is there anything she is not against?

I don't consider her comments any more dangerous or outlandish than about anything you could hear from Rush Limbaugh or such. She can see no good one way, he can see no good the other way. Both have their obvious skeletons in their closets, yet both are borderline insane.

So when you see or hear someone say something that is different from your beliefs you consider that outlandish and wrong?

I haven't seen many radical Christians with bombs strapped on, have you? I know where VTGal is coming from and agree with her to some extent. I do think Rosie's comments were meant to offend, and that she takes great pleasure in that.

    Re: ROSIE O'DONNELL

Have to correct you on that one amigo.
Radical Christians bomb abortion clinics quite frequently. They may not always strap em on, but the end result is the same violence that they condemn others for. Another example that radicals do not represent EVERY person of a religion.

    Re: ROSIE O'DONNELL

"In this area, much more folks than not despise/distrust those of different religions, as well as different colors of skin. You may very well be the exception to that rule-I am not to judge, as I do not know you. But we all know that this is fact in this area."

(We) know no such thing. Racism = prejudice and prejudice doesn't require setting stereotypes by skin color but rather by any number of standards including religion and place of origin and heritage. Based upon that the only prejudice statements I see on this thread are posted by you.

"Radical Christians bomb abortion clinics quite frequently."

Perhaps you need to look up the definition of frequently.

The issue of proportion is what brought me to this thread. Here we have it again. I do not condone the bombing of abortion clinics, I'm not even anti-abortion but here is the difference and problem with your lack of seeing the disparity in proportion. You add together every person sadly injured and killed in every abortion clinic bombing ever (EVER) and I'll point you to several individual incidents involving Muslim terror bombings that each resulted in more death and injury than all those abortion clinic bombings combined.

Here is another problem with your argument. despite your clear dislike and prejudice against Christians most Christians do not condone abortion clinic bombings even if they also disagree with abortion rights. On the other hand I've already shown that between 57 and 83 percent of Muslims polled do agree with suicide bombings. Want to defend that?

"All Muslims are evil (I can't remember any of the Muslims that I know dancing in the street)"

"random personal experiences? Yep-that's how I choose to learn in this world-by experience (not by what you see on a politically controlled TV screen-we all know we only see what they want us to see)"

So...you believe that the news footage taken from each of several countries of thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets and celebrating the 9/11 bombing were staged by a *politically controlled media? *Cues up the twilight zone theme*
